Hi everyone
Here’s a little background of what’s been going on in our immigration lives.
In Jan 23 we filed I-130 & I-485 (with all supporting forms) for parents
In July 23 my mother in law got an RFE for medical exam and Birth Certificate
in Sept 23 my mother in law, submitted the response to the RFE, but she made the mistake and submitted her husbands birth certificate with her RFE and not her own BC.
May 16, 2024 her I-130 got approved yet the i-485 got denied because the wrong BC was submitted.
Now we’re planing to file i-290b to try an open the case and submit the correct evidence. We’re just nervous, her nonimmigrant visa expires this week, she has TPS and EAD processing endlessly, and we’re so angry that her GC application got denied over the simples thing on our end!
Anyone else had experienced anything of these sorts? Please share your experience and thoughts and recommendations.
