I have a GC through marriage to a US citizen. When time comes to renew it, do I need to be physically present in the U.S. for a particular period of time before filing? Is there a requirement or rule of thumb that USCIS follows on how long a GC holder needs to be physically present to get a Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence approved? Thanks!

No, but you have to not abandon residence, just like any other green card holder. What constitutes abandonment of residence is subjective.

Thanks! I wonder if there are things to watch out for based on other people's experience. Like being away for more than half the time, or staying away for longer than 3 months, half year, etc. I am trying to juggle some circumstances abroad with GC.
