  • I-130 Online form, parents deceased

On I-130 online form, the petitioners parents is deceased. For the Town/City of residence (Question 28), I put in Deceased. For the Country of Residence (Question 29), I leave blank. I'm thinking of adding an addendum in part 9 stating: Parent is deceased, last country of Residence was ...
I'd like to know if anyone had experience on this situation. Thanks!

    Hi,
Yes. this is good practice to mention in the addendum. Question 29, will not let you leave it blank. So it will be automatically filled as Unknown. You can provide brief clarification in the Addendum. With that, Officer will understand the reason of mentioning as Unknown.
    Thanks
