I wonder if somebody can help me with this. I would like to petition for my mom visiting here.
I was adopted at 17 by her and my step dad. I have a new bith certificate issued at that age, but with the original date of bith. I have the adoption certificate which shows my original name and that I was adopted by my mom and my step dad and that I was taken my stepfather's name. Is this enough to show she is my bith mom?
We can also get her marriage certificate, her bith certificate. Her divorce decree from my birth dad does not have an official stamp or signature, just 2 pages type with all the info and that the marriage was over, by who and what law, and that I was given to her.
