EB3 - EB2 conversion

Hi,

I have EB3 filed and have my I-140 approved for my current company. The employer itself decided to change my change and is filing my EB2 and then file I-140 with old priority date.
Now my question is in case of the I-140 denial what will happen to my old EB3 case and the I-140?
