I worked for employer A who filed my green card process and got my I-140 approved just before completing my 6 year H1 term. I then changed my job and started working for employer B. During the H1 transfer to Employer B, I got H1B approved for 3 years based on approved I-140 with previous employer A.
I have H1B approved till April 2016 and I also have a copy of my old I-140 with previous employer (It is not revoked). Employer B has initiated my GC process but i am not sure in what stage it is at the moment.
Questions:
- Will my approved i-140 be still valid after my previous employer A is acquired?
- Do i need to tell my companys attorney's about the same?
- If my previous i-140 wont be valid anymore, will my H1b become invalid too ?
