Approved I-140 - company will file its name change amendmen while I'm leaving company
If someone could help to answer below queries or at least give some pointers pls............
1. I have approved I-140. Company's name has changed and now company will file an amendment of name change on approved I-140 for "ALL such employees like me".
1.1 It will not impact my H-1B ext or anything else, its just a name change on 'Approved I-140'
1.2. It might take couple of months, say 4 to 5 months to get updated I-140 from USCIS
2. I plan to switch company based on "Approved I-140". Now, I have two options:
2.1. I don't give required documents (pay stubs etc) which company has asked in order to file an amendment in name change for 'approved I-140'. And, leave the company in the mean time even before company files an amendment (This option looks safer to me...)
2.2. Or, give the documents (pay stubs etc) and let the company file an amendment in name change for 'approved I-140', AND then leave the company (This option kinda looks disaster to me...)
Any wise words as what will happen in "Point 2.1" or "Point 2.2" above in case I leave current company while 'Name change on approved I-140" step is still in progress with USCIS ?
