- How long does it take a get a receipt for the H1B transfer?
- Can I start working with the new employer based on the receipt number itself?
- If not, how long does it take to complete the full transfer process?
3. I have an approved I-140 with my current employer.
- If my spouse's EAD gets approved, can she work with the current approved I-140?
- Is this I-140 valid even if I switch employer?
4. If switching jobs, what should be the maximum/minimum time gap between leaving my current job and joining another so as to not loose the current H1 status?
