S2045 law - For spouses too???

Hi All,

First - Congratulations to all on S2045 !!!!

My situation is a little different. My six years on H1 will expire in 3 months time. My wife has applied for I-140 since August, 1999. She still has 3 years left on her 6 years limit. As per the s2045 - A person can get extension beyond 6 years limit if I-140 is pending for more than a year.

My question to you all is - Will I get extension beyond 6 years as a dependent on my wife's I-140 approval??

Yes, you will get extension.

Forget to specify, you will extension as H4 and NOT as H1.
