I am on 7th year. My company filed h1b extension on Jan 30th 2008 under normal process, few days back only they told me that as per 240 days procedure i was not able to work for them and gave the suggestion to transfer my h1b to another company. At this juncture i had only 2 days left. I had approved 140 at this time and 7th year extension was under pending status.
The other option is that i will not work and wait for h1b approval or apply through Premium Process and get result within 15 days, but if any RFE comes again wait until the approval of h1b extension.
So, my previous employer (he was my first employer) filed h1b extension on today (Sep 26th 2008). Expecting new case number next week.
I want to know is there any issue will come now as one 7th year h1b extension is pending still and new employer filed another h1b extension using my approved I140.
