I'm preparing to file an Adjustment of Status (I-485) petition for my EB2-NIW and my spouse as a concurrent filing. As far as I know, employment-based visas like EB2-NIW usually don't require Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support).
However, since I'm not yet a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and am filing simultaneously for my spouse as a dependent, I'm unsure if I need to file I-864 in this case.
Has anyone filed an EB2-NIW AOS petition with their spouse and can share their experience? Is I-864 mandatory in this situation?
