US born baby will get Indian citizenship rights
H All,
We are expecting babby in th month of Oct'14 and I gone through so many posts here and here is my undersatand and then i will ask my questions
1. US born baby will get US citizenship by birth and baby can opt for citizenship which wanths at the age of 18
2. Until baby in India as NRI
3. he no rights for govt job, voting etc.
4. If baby get India passport, baby will have all rights in India like others
1. If I get India pasport and get back to India. after some time before baby age below 18 If I have to come back USA for Job purpose shall I bring my baby with me with applying of US paapost and surrendering India paasport. after my project duration to go back to india shall i get India passport again with surrendering of US passport?
2. after baby age 18, If baby wants to be India citizen , does baby status will be changed to as Indian with all rights as like others
3. In future if my baby will get a seat on NRI quota, IN THE MIDDLE OF COURSE IF MY BABY WILL TURN AS INDIA CITIZEN, shall i pay regular fee for rest of course
