One of my fellow travelers has come to India on an employment visa. Since his employment ends on February 10, 2015, his employment visa will not longer be valid. However, he has a tourist visa that he obtained a couple years ago that has not expired. Is it possible for him to leave India on February 10th and come back three weeks later on his tourist visa?
