Very confused, please help

I have a daughter who is a minor. She had her passport renewed. They didn't return the old passport with the U-Visa sticker, they destroyed it.

We are traveling to India in one month, sort of a last minute trip.

We have the OCI booklet. In it it states the old passport number, the one which was destroyed. She does have a new, valid, passport.

Will India Immigration allow entry using the OCI card (with the old passport number) and the new passport?
