Very Important Question on Indian Visa - PLEASE HELP

Me, my wife and 13month old daughter traveled to India two weeks back. Me and my wife are Indian Citizens with Indian Passports on H1/H4, my daughter was born in US and is a US Citizen with US Passport. During our visit to India i forgot (biggest mistake of my life) to take an Indian Visa for her. We had a huge problem at the Chennai Immigration. Finally they let her out on a 3 day TLP (Temp Landing Permit). Upon instruction, I went to the Immigrations office in Chennai, spoke to the FFRO and got the TLP extended to 45 days (after a ton of process & money) - it cannot be extended any further. My daughter should get out of India on or before 25th Feb. My wife and kid are planning to be in India for 6 months. My question is - where should we go to get her an Indian Visa and get back to India - should we go to Srilanka or Singapore? Will there be any hurdles or difficulties in getting a Indian Visa for my daughter in these countries since she was in India on a TLP?

If anyone has any experience in getting an Indian visa in Singapore or Srilanka, please share your process and experience.
