Hi all,
I was born in India and then obtained my Canadian citizenship and OCI in 2007. I was not married then. I am now married and obtained US citizenship and would like to change my OCI with my new US passport. The additional particulars form on the CKGS is asking for "Spouse's Name - As on current Passport". My wife was also an Indian citizen and now is a US citizen.
I was wondering what is needed here since my spouse's name is not on my Indian passport, my current OCI or on my US passport. I got rejected once with the following two reasons:
1. INCOMPLETE / INCORRECT Spouses Name in Online OCI Application Form. Please reapply with the Spouses Name mentioned as in your Indian Passport or Current Passport.
2. INCOMPLETE / INCORRECT Spouses Name in Online OCI Application Form. Please reapply with the Spouses Name mentioned as in your Current Passport or PIO Card or Current OCICard.
