Hi,
I have filled OCI application for my son (10 years) in govt website. Using that application number I submitted that in VFS site and paid the fees for postal submit. I got confirmation letter as well. When I filled application, I used my son's thump impression as signature under photo. Later I realized that minors above 5 should sign on application form. I want to know the best options I have here to rectify. Is it strictly needed a signature? Will the application be accepted or rejected? If we assume the application is not accepted, I filled another OCI application with his name as signature now. Using this new application, how can I proceed in VFS site by not paying OCI fees again? I read that fees refunds other than VFS processing fees are considered. Please help.
