Hi,
My legal guardian happens to be my mother. When they issued the passport in India, they physically crossed Father in Name of Father/Legal Guardian field and wrote Mother by hand and did the same in Name of Mother field, crossing Mother and writing Father by hand. I am not sure how to do this in the online application form. Would it be better to visit the consulate in this case rather than mail the application in ?
Also, my passport expires in January 2011. Should I get it in tatkal or normal processing ? I am on H1B visa.
