UK OCI application issues - can I do after UK cit for spouse and children?

Hi. I have been delaying my citizenship application for the past 3 years out of some vague reluctance to give up a nominal card. However, one thing I had hoped to accomplish before I either renew my Indian passport or apply for UK citizenship is to get OCI for the husband and children. Husband is British, not a person of Indian origin. His connection with India is me. And his many visits there now. But twice they have said we have not submitted the right thing. They also told my husband we had to both arrive together - wasn't clear on the website but hopefully I'll get it right this time.


HOWEVER

If I now apply for UK citizenship, will that make the OCI process harder for my husband?
