Hi,
I'm attempting to apply on behalf of my mother who was born in 1952.
She became a canadian citizen in 1993, and her last Indian passport would have expired in 1994.
The last Indian passport has been misplaced sometime over the past 30 years. The requirements state that a nativity certificate needs to be presented, however because of her birth being 1952, this isn't available.
The only thing that we have is an older Indian passport which was last used in 1987, and a landing certificate (Canadian) which lists the last (lost) indian passport's number and expiry date.
How should I go about this application?
