Hi All,
We need to apply the passport for my child back in India , I am now days working in US on L1 so my wife will be applying for the passport in India, we came to know that I need to gave the affidavit of ‘no objection’ which should be attested at the mission/consulate.
The notarized Affidavit, in duplicate, and the Miscellaneous services application form, original passport, fee of $ 10 should be submitted to the Texas Consulate for attestation of the Affidavit.
I have few questions
1) I am working in West Plam Beach , Florida , So what is the procedure of doing the above task from here.
2) Once I got the attested affidavit , Can I send the scan copy of that to my wife or do I need to send the original through courier.
3) Fee of $10 to be paid so is it a Cash or DD or some other means.
4) Can we make the affidavit from India and then I can get it here signed it and send it back. Will this work.
I hope to get some positive response from this forum
