Hi,
Subject says it all. I have been in the US for ~6yrs; my PERM is pending and my H1B is expiring in 45 days. My PERM filing anniversary is Dec-17-2014 which is when I can re-enter with H1B for 1yr more.
I also have a 10yr B1/B2 visa already stamped on my passport. I do intend to leave the US by mid August 2014 before my H1B expires, but wanted to know if it's OK to re-enter after a few weeks on a B2/B1 and continue my life as normal? What are the risks at port-of-entry and the risks to PERM if I do this? I intend to stay in the US on B1/B2 mostly for 2 months at a time, then leave and re-return... till Dec 17th.
