    Schengen visa application

    My girlfriend is Philipino and lives and works in Hong Kong. We are trying to apply for a Schengen visa for her to visit Holland in June 2023.
    I was wondering if anybody had any luck getting approved without having a flight and insurance booked.
    A lot can happen between now and then and most flights are not refundable.
    Any thoughts ?
