Can I start and run a business on AP/EAD?

I had L2-EAD till May this year, and recently received the Advanced Parole/EAD card (serves as I-512). I am not the primary applicant (my husband is). Can I start my own business?

Hope I get some help here.
My wife has valid Visa until 03/2016. She got it using H4.
Unfortunately I was laid off last year but fortunately I have EAD and AP. So I moved on to new job with EAD.
