Did anyone have an experience of buying a house while your green card is expired and have a pending N400 application?

Time as a Resident in USCIS State for atleast 3 months before applying N400 !

Planning to apply N400 in Illinois ,
1) I have out of state ID(NY) but been living here with family in IL for 3 months+ before applying N400 (early apply-90 days prior to 5 years)
2) All Bank accounts has IL address for more than 3 months
3) Do you need to have the Illinois ID...
