Change of Status from B2 to E3

Hi

I currently have a B2 visa and an E3 visa. My question is: If I enter the US on the B2 visa can I change my status to E3 without leaving the country?

The E3 visa only allows me to stay in the country 10 days outside of work and I want to enter the country 25 days prior...
