Can F2 travel to India and comeback to US if F1-visa is expired but status is active?

Is it possible for F2 to travel to home country and comeback to US with expired F1-stamp but active status. F2-stamp is good as well.

F2 traveling to home country while F1-OPT filing for H1B

I needs some information.
I am currently holding F2 Visa and my husband is on F1-OPT (expires in June' 2015).
He will be filing for H1B on April' 2015.

My question is: is it safe for me to travel to my home country on January' 2015 and return on March 15th 2015! Will...
