Hi,
I had applied for my I-485 along with that for my wife in Aug 2007.
My wife was then on a G-4 visa.
However, in Nov 2007 we both got our EADs and in January she quit her job and relinquished her G-4 status, to go on the EAD. She is now on the EAD.
