Is that possible to process L2 when L1-B is in progress?

I have started process my L1-B New from my company. Its going to take long time... In the mean time, i am thinking to start process L2 (for me from my wife company). Is that possibe? or is there any restriction that 2 visa can not be in progress at same time?
