Has anyone applied for OCI reissue at New York? I see from CKGS that they need original new US passport and Original OCI card to be sent along with the application. Their site is also stating that it is about 10 days for the reissue.

OCI - Re-Issue unnecessarily over complicated
For issuing OCI for the first time asking for all docs + notary seems more than reasonable. But it is still ok as we should be done once and be good. But why do we need all the documents again for re-issue?.
