Passport for Spouse and Kid

Hello All,

I am working in USA with H1B visa. I am planning to bring my wife and son.
My wife and kid don't have their passport.
How do i add my name while applying passport for my wife and Kid being here in USA?

And also what else we can produce as a proof...

Hi,

I need to apply passport for my son ( 1 month) in India, my family is in India and I am in US. Looks like we need to send a letter to Indian embassy in US and get it attested and then send to India to submit along with passport application?

Can anyone share the letter...
