Reschedule / Cancel procedure for Visa interview

Hi,

The Tourist Visa interview dates for my In laws is Feb 8 in Mumbai consulate. This date was obtained from the Ahmedabad application center of US consulate.

They are not in a position to visit the consulate due to health reasons.

1) Could you please let me know what is the procedure for cancelling visa interview and getting the refund back? What are the rules around returning refund amount ?

2) Alternatively, is it possible to postpone the interview date to 3-4 months later date ? If yes, what is the procedure ?

Go to the center and reschedule it to a future date. Thats doable.
