L1B to H1B COS

Hi,

As i am working on L1B and my visa got expired (completing 5 years) on Nov, 2018.
If i will aplly for a H1b and got approved. Shall i start my new Job from Oct, 2018?
If yes, how long i can stay on H1b? for Another 3 years as i got a new H1b or only 1 more year as L1B + H1B = 6years?

You'll most probably get 1 year H1 visa ... but you can have your GC petition filed & extend your H1 indefinitely.
