Self Employed in India, some questions regarding B2

I am a freelance web programmer (self employed) working for clients abroad (mainly US and Canada) from India. I have applied for B2 visa for myself and for my wife. I have no intention to stay there long, just to visit my clients / my friends over there (max of 3 weeks). However I have some questions. Will be great if anyone clarify these

1. As I can work from anywhere (everything is over internet), will they think I am plannin to settle in the US and will that affect gettin my visa ?

2. As my income was less than 1 Lakh till this yr, I didn't file income tax returns, but got my pan card this yr and plannint to file IT returns too. Not filing the tax returns till now will create any problems ? Do I need to show previous 3 yrs tax return documents ?

3. As I am a freelancer, my income is not regular, so my bank statement will be like - some months deposits are very less, some months high. Same for withdrawals. Will that be a problem ?

4. Is there anything like a min amount bank balance (INR) we should show to prove that we are paying for our trip ? Whats the average they expect ? Anything like that ?

5. Is there any restrictions like we can't go to certain states etc ? Like in Visa form, I wrote the address I will be staying as Alabama, but I am planning to visit my friends in other states too.

If you can provide strong ties that you would return to India then it should
not be a problem

If the visa is self sponsored, you may need to have 15-20L worth of property and 2-4L of bank deposit (Please search this forum for more details on this question)
