H4/Can you travel alone?

Please advis if you can go on a hooliday by yourself on a H4 visa. Will entry back into the US be an issue?

Original is needed for the visa. For POE, a photo copy (Xerox is the name of a company that sells copiers which Indians have conveniently used in lieu of the term "photocopy" and it has entered the dictionary lately too) would suffice.
