    hi everyone
my dad(us citizen) applied i-130 in 2008 for me and its approved.now the approved petition is in NVC at new hamshire.iam 30 years old and single living in usa on student visa.from 2007 iam on student visa in usa.i was born in india.my mom is a canadian citizen.so i got canadian citizenship in 2004.

NVC issued the visa bulletin for family first preferrence(unmarried sons of us citizen) and they put the priority date as june/01/2004 for india.

    MY QUESTION:
1.in my above case , i need to look priority date for india as i was born in india
or i need to look priority date for canada as iam a canadian citizen.

2.NVC will look for my country of birth or country of citizenship.

3.how can i look priority date for canada in the national visa center website.

    please reply.
    thank you guys.

I think its based on citizenship. Do you hold a Dual Citizenship ? You can check with US embassy based in Canada they might be able to tell you.
