My OPT was rejected in the beginning due to the incorrect fee amount. I received back the documents and sent them again with the corrected amount. However, the documents were rejected after the last day for the application process. The application deadline was 5th October, however I did not receive the notice until the 23rd of October which is way past the last date. When I called the USCIS they said that I can just send the documents with the rectified amount and the I-797C. I did so and also let them know that I did, they said that I could just check the money order tracking. Its been well over 45 days I have not heard anything from them and also the status of the money order is unchanged. I very much confused as what to do next or even what should be done?
