I am a Masters Computer science student. I am supposed to graduate in Dec 2010 but unfortunately I ended up getting a C in one of the courses and have to repeat it in Spring 2011. The thing is I have applied for my OPT and my DSO shortened my I-20 to December 14-2010 which was until May 2012.Unfortunately or Fortunately my Opt application came back because my DSO has done a mistake in submitting the OPT so the USCIS asked me to resubmit the OPT by attaching the required documents.but now my DSO is not willing to reapply my opt as I din't graduate. So they are saying that they put a ticket to the SEVIS asking to rollback my I-20 to MAY 2012 as it was before they shortened and they are also saying that in case if the SEVIS rejects the application they have to reinstate my SEVIS and they are also suggesting that there might be a chance to reject the reinstation.can anyone help me in this regard and let me know the chances of extending my I20 and the chances of my Reinstation of my sevis?They are saying that in case my reinstation gets rejected I should leave the country.If my Sevis has been reinstated what are the chances I can apply for my OPT and getting approved?
