SSN - Not Received - 3 months up
Hi All,
I am currently on F-1 visa and working on-campus at my university. I had applied for SSN on 14th Nov, 2011. It's been over 3 months now & I have not received my SSN yet.
I have enquired the SS authorities (both over phone and in person) regarding status. But, all I listen is that it's pending with the Immigration Department and will take 14 more days.
I have already been to the SSN office 3-4 times but able to dig out more info from them.
Please suggest if this regular or is there something wrong?
