HI, If anyone can guide me for obtaining permit to transit through Manipur. I have visited the Indian High Commission in Ottawa, Canada but left in limbo. The clerks, receptionists at the High Commissioner and at the BLS visa services have no clue as to what is PAP.
I am a Naturalized Canadian, with birthplace in Shillong, now Meghalaya. In late Feb 2017, my travel plan is to visit my birthplace, Shillong, via Myanmar-India Friendship Road, entering into Manipur, India through the Moren India Myanmar border crossing.
All of the Indian Government Home Ministry web sites have info regarding the PAP but, when I apply through the web site the site crashes. My question is that: Is Manipur still a restricted state?
