I applied for British citizenship and completed my biometrics on 13th June 2025. It’s now been 60 days, and I haven’t received any updates or correspondence from the Home Office.

Is this delay normal? Has anyone else experienced a similar wait time recently? I’d appreciate any advice or insight into what I should expect next or whether I should follow up.

I also applied in June and had to wait almost 3 months to receive a letter from Home Office. 60 days is still within normal range, don’t worry!

This is pretty normal, honestly. Sixty days after biometrics isn’t unusual at all — many people wait 3–6 months, and some even longer, depending on workload and background checks.

You can follow up if it goes well past the standard processing time stated for your application type, but for now, this wait is unfortunately very common.
