Hello,
I am a US citizen. My girlfriend (Russian citizen) & daughter (US citizen by birth abroad+passport) live in Russia. We are not married. My girlfriend has won the Greencard lottery and is awaiting her interview. She filed the DS-230 as "divorced" as per her previous marriage.
How do I come into play in her application/interview?
1) Do I need to file an the Affidavit of Support I-864 form? If yes, then do I quality as a "relative"?
2) Will the embassy find issue with my girlfriend seeking immigration through the lottery vs pursuing a fiance visa instead?
