I am currently on a B1 Visa in the US for Business Purposes. I had mentioned in my DS-160 that my visit would be for 2 weeks. But later things changed and in the immigration, I mentioned that I would have to stay for 1 month. I got a stamping for 6 months. But because stakeholders have rescheduled, I might have to extend my stay till 3 months. The complication is that right after I get back to my home country, I have to apply for an F-1 within 2-3 weeks of arrival (I intend to get my I-20 done while in the US itself and schedule my OFC and Interview in my home country 2-3 weeks after arrival).
Will I face any problems/complications during my F-1 because of this? If so how much is the maximum time period you suggest I stay in the US before coming back? (I have been in the US for 18 days now)
