B1 Visa Question

I already have a B1/B2 visa, it was issued in 2005 and is valid for 10 years. I applied for this visa through my current employer in the UK. I am an events manager there is an opportunity for me to go to the US and do maternity cover for a person in the same position as I am for approximately 6 months. I will continue to be employed in the United Kingdom and will still be paid in the UK.

Can I use this B1 visa for the above purpose?
