Passport not sent by Chennai Consulate after B1/B2 Visa Approval

I applied for my wife's B1/B2 VISA on 16th Feb 2010 and still waiting for VISA and still no updates from Consulate or VFS.... its being 8 working days

I wonder why its taking time.. I was told "Stamping Issue", "Printing Issue", "Some Internal process taking time", "havnt received orders from US" etc etc..
