Starting a business while on B1 visa

I have 10 years multiple business visa. I have my own company in Singapore, I would like to start a company in CA, US either a branch of my Singapore company or new one, whichever is easy. I don't have SSN. How should I go about it? One more thing Is my Singapore Driveing Lic valid in US? Can I drive a car in US with Singapore Driving lic?
