I have urgent family matter and need to leave the country in a few days, but I would like to get my FP done before leaving. I applied on Sep 18th, received the receipt notice on Oct 5th, and am still waiting (it has been about 10 days) for FP notice... Has anyone applied from NYC in mid September who has heard back yet?
