N-400 RFE on continuous residency during interview
Hi
When am I likely to hear back from USCIS? Do you think I have a good chance to be able to attend oath in LA on July 22 2016? I will have to travel ASAP to be with my family once done, and I am currently counting day by day:-(.
I had my naturalization interview last Sat on June 11 2016 at San Fernando Valley field office (near LA, CA). I was requested to send a proof that I have full access to my house in LA while abroad. I sent out my response on June 14, 2016.
My PD is Dec 30, 2015; initial interview on June 11 2016 (waited 4 months after fingerprint). I left US on Feb 4, 2016 as my USC husband got a short-term contract job abroad, and came back to US on June 7 2016 for the interview. In short, I was out of US for 4 months this time (which never happened before). I confirmed with a pro-bono immigration attorney that I should be fine as long as I won't be out of US for 6 months or more before leaving US.
