Many a time when people say that they've filed the U.S. citizenship (or GC for that matter) application for themselves and their spouse together, they don't get the same FP or interview dates.
This is what I've found out from the information gathered all over the place.
Almost all those who filed their GCs, U.S. Citizenship's together and mailed the same in the SAME package did get their FP and interview dates on the same date.
Lot of times when some say they filed together, they sometimes send different packages to the USCIS which almost certainly results in different processing and hence ends up with different dates.
Of course, this works only if both the applicants do not have any RFEs and everything is clean and straightforward.
In my personal case, each and every step of the process from GC through U.S. citizenship was on the same date for both of us.
Hope this information helps someone.
