hi,
i have two questions and i am hoping this board can help me.
1. i recently was scheduled for my swearing in but was out of country and had to reply requesting a new date...i provided proof and copy of plane tickets to them. replied about 6 weeks ago and still havent received a new date. will i be penalized for missing my original date? someone told me i can just go to a federal judge and request a swearing in since i was already approved for citizenship? is this true? do i have to wait for my appt letter? this is REALLY important b/c i am applying for a job, perfect for my qualifications and you must be a citizen. the job application time closes on sept 22 so if there is anyway to speed up the swearing in w/o waiting for homeland security it would be amazing. i called DHS but was given the std answer of you must wait like everyone else......
2. i am a canadian citizen....can i hold us and canadian at the same time?
